Dr. Maurício Magalhães Costa is a Full Member of the National Academy of Medicine. Graduated in Medicine at UFRJ in 1981. Medical Residency in Gynecology and Obstetrics at UFRJ, and Specialization in Gynecological Oncology at the Karolinska Institute in Sweden in 1985. Master's, Doctorate and Post-Doctorate from UFRJ. Specialization by Contest in Gynecology and Obstetrics (TEGO) and Mastology (TEMA) and Head of the Brazilian College of Surgeons (TCBC). Holder of Equivalence of Degree in Medicine by the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Lisbon, in 2008 and Title of Specialist in Gynecology and Obstetrics granted by the National Executive Council of the Portuguese Medical Association.
